Welcome!

Welcome to Science Inspired; the online repository of my musings on Life, the Universe and Enterprise Architecture.

I came to Enterprise Architecture (EA) and System Architecture (SA) through a roundabout route: via a PhD in Astrophysics, a stint as a radar design engineer, and the guidance of a Buddhist priest; all of which are long stories in themselves, and which will no doubt find their way here eventually.

Over the last seven years I have consulted for a wide range of clients in defence, and the public and private sectors, on projects ranging in value from a few thousand to several billion pounds.

In this blog, I will share my tales from the road and experience as a consultant. I’ll also discuss EA as a theoretical subject, and see how it can be applied in real-life. My aims are to understand EA better, to explore EA topics and new advances in the field, and to build a network of friends and like-minded thinkers along the way.

I do not claim to be an expert in anything. Any views expressed here will be my own, not necessarily those of my clients or employers. Unless dishing out praise, or commenting on events in the public eye, I will be careful to anonymise the characters who will feature in my posts. Friends and colleagues will be named only with their permission. Client confidentiality is assured, and national security will be maintained at all times. Promise.

You are invited to join me on this journey. Please feel free to follow my blog, comment on the posts, or even get in touch.
All the best,

Dr Michelle Supper

Michelle, I’m hooked already. As a fellow non-expert, it sounds fantastic and I can’t wait to hear more.

  2. Thanks Darryl! The next post is now up 🙂 .
